Working Mother

I am so very lucky to be able to work from home.  This is me hard at work making $$ :).  I get to hold my little baby Leo and make calls to clients.

Walter shaved his head

He ended up shaving all of it off including the handlebar mustache.  Leo doesn't look impressed at all. Me, I like a man with a shaved head.

Good Sleeper

Leo is a great sleeper.  I wake him up to feed and change him.  Then he goes right back to sleep.  He hardly ever cries.  I wonder how long that will last??

7 lbs 10 oz

The pediatrician said Leo is growing well, getting stronger and is very healthy.  :)

Protective Papa

Walter is fun to watch as he walks his son down the street.  We were on the way to the pediatricians where we learned today Leo is now back to his birth weight of 6 lbs 11oz.

Walter gets very protective walking down the street.  He wears a mean look on his face.  Even I don't cross him.  eeeeek.

easy saturday with Leo the Dragon Slayer

Leo is a good little sleeper eater.  My sister natalee gave us this little outfit.  Her son Oliver wore it.  He ate and slept all day.

being home took some ajustments.  last night was the first time he spit up on me.  I might have over fed him.

Then this morning he spit up on me again.

I put a load of laundry in our brand new washers.

My mom helped me get them as a shower gift. :)

In fact, I get presents from my family on a biweekly bases.

Makes me want to turn into a baby making machine and have a few more back to back.

Maybe I'll wait and see how this going for a few more days...  :)

I'm loving being a mom.

Leaving the hospital.

We took a cab home.  Someone took our photo on the street before going upstairs.  I was so very nervous leaving the hospital environment.

Here's a photo of Leo sucking his thumb in the womb.

First Day

Wednesday, June 3, 2009 10:35am our little baby was born 6 lbs. 11 oz., at St. Luke Roosevelt Hospital, Manhattan.  We brought him home on Saturday, June 6.

Walter's family drove down from CT to see the newest Fuente.  We named Leopoldo after Walter's father.  There are (I believe) 7 grand daughters in Walter's family.  Our little Leo is the first grandson.

After visiting with us in the hospital the Walter and his family went back to our home in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and worked on our home to ready it for our new little baby.  Since Leo came to us 25 days early, he caught us a little unprepared.

Sonya, Barbara and Vera came by for a visit.  My family sent tons of flowers and a basket full of goodies.  I had a warm and loving experience in the hospital.
